Bio
Edgmond joined the coaching staff at Saddleback in 2025-26 as an assistant coach. Previous to Saddleback, Edgmond has had a 10-year career at the high school and club level.
Edgmond started his coaching career at Foothill Technology High School where he started the program and developed the program from its inception. In his first five years, Edgmond won 97 games in leading the team to the CIF Elite 8 (2019), Final Four (2017), and Championships (2018). For his efforts, he was honored with multiple accolades, including Ventura County Coach of the Year (2018), Tri-Valley League Coach of the Year (2016-18), and Frontier League Coach of the Year (2015).
Edgmond then took over the program at Northwood High School, leading the program to its first CIF appearance in over a decade, reaching the CIF Elite 8 in 2021 and the Sweet 16 in 2022. He then took over the program at Beckman High School where he led the program to its first-ever 20-win seasons in program history (2024, 2025) and secured back-to-back league championships.
Edgmond holds a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Health and Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with an emphasis in Athletic Training and a minor in Psychology, both from Southwest Baptist University.
