On this date in 2014 the Saddleback women's basketball team defeated Santa Ana College, 72-65, to improve to 18-10 overall and 9-2 in Orange Empire Conference play. With the win, Saddleback remained in a tie for first place with one game remaining in the regular season. Deja Brooks (pictured) led the team with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Saddleback would win the OEC title two nights later against Fullerton College.
On this date in 2016 the Saddleback men's basketball team finished the regular season with a 78-43 win against Orange Coast College. Saddleback finished the regular season at 27-1 overall and a perfect 12-0 in Orange Empire Conference play, and it was the 21st straight win for the team. Saddleback was led by Daniel Young, who came off the bench to finish with 15 points and six rebounds. It was a fifth straight OEC title for (then) head coach Andy Ground (pictured) and the men's basketball program.
On this date in 2016 the Saddleback softball team defeated Riverside City College, 16-3. The win snapped a four-game losing streak and improved Saddleback to 5-5 on the season. Saddleback scored nine runs in the seventh inning to blow open a close game, as Libby Riehl and Samantha Molina (pictured) both homered in the inning.
