Over the years, Saddleback College has had some great moments in athletics.  This is what was happening on this date in the past.

On this date in 2019 the Saddleback baseball team defeated Los Angeles Harbor College, 4-3.  Saddleback scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to overcome a deficit in improving to 10-4 on the season.  Demitri Colacchio (pictured) had three hits on the day, including a one-out single that drove home Joseph Canty with the go-ahead run.  It was the fourth straight win for Saddleback.

On this date in 2015 the Saddleback softball team defeated Fullerton College, 5-2.  Saddleback scored four runs in the opening inning in improving to 8-1 on the season and 3-0 in Orange Empire Conference play.  The big blast was a three-run homer by Caelen Smith (pictured), who finished 2-for-3 with three RBI.

On this date in 2014 the Saddleback men's tennis team defeated Orange Coast College, 5-2.  It was the fourth straight win for Saddleback, who improved to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in Orange Empire Conference play.  One of the big moments was a 9-8 win at No. 2 doubles by the tandem of Jeffrey Gelman and Robert Wall (pictured), who won 7-3 in a tiebreaker.
