Bobcats nearing $2.7 million in scholarships

The Saddleback athletics department is proud to announce that athletes from the school are nearing $2.7 million (approximation) in scholarships for the 2023-24 calendar year.  It is the ninth time in the past 11 years eclipsing $2 million. 

Saddleback had another sensational year in athletics, and again it resulted in the student-athletes earning scholarships to four-year schools.  A total 39 athletes have garnered scholarships so far this year with a handful more expected to sign before the end of the summer. 

The $2.688 million is the sixth highest number since the athletics department started tracking the numbers in 2010.  With a handful still waiting to sign, the total could surpass $2.7 million by the end of the summer. 

The highest total of scholarship awards was in 2019-20 when approximately $3.033 million were awarded in scholarships.
