Bobcats growl at Tigers in the sand

The Saddleback beach volleyball team had 3-2 victory over Riverside City College on Friday at Irvine Valley College.  The Bobcats are now in second place in the Orange Empire Conference Eastern Division.

Saddleback won the opening three matches to close out the team win.  The Bobcats had a win on court one when Logan Daniels and Abigail Brown swept past the duo of Azriel White and Lanah Bergen (21-19, 21-13).  Saddleback made it 2-0 when Kaydance Robles and Haley Jones won in straight sets on court four over Mya Castro and Jada Cottom (21-13, 21-18).  The Bobcats then clawed out a third straight win on court five when Autry Satica and Sabrina Hernandez took care of business in beating Katie Moore and Kelly Moore (21-11, 22-20). 

Saddleback then lost a pair of matches on courts two and three in three sets.

Later in the day, Saddleback fell to Irvine Valley College, 5-0.  The Bobcats are now 5-10 overall and 3-5 in Orange Empire Conference play.  Saddleback will play again next Friday in Riverside versus Riverside City College and Fullerton College.
