Bio
Returns to Saddleback after being a part of the program last spring before the season was cut short due to COVID-19. During the 2020 campaign, Murphy pitched in five games, finishing with a 3.86 ERA.
Previous to Saddleback, Murphy lettered in baseball and football at Trabuco Hills High School before graduating in 2019. While at THHS, Murphy played in the Orange County All Star game as a senior.
Murphy comes from a family of athletes as his father, Brendan, played football at the University of San Diego, his uncle, Art, swam at Harvard and his uncle Brian played football at the University of San Diego.
Murphy plays the guitar and likes dogs. He plans to major in communications.
