Two more baseball commitments
The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news this past week with the announcement of two more players from the 2025 team committing to four-year universities. Jacob Beauchine and Isaac Rodriguez give the Bobcats six commitments for the offseason.
The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news this past week with the announcement of two more players from the 2025 team committing to four-year universities. Jacob Beauchaine and Isaac Rodriguez give the Bobcats six commitments for the offseason.
Beauchaine committed to Seattle University, located in Seattle, Washington. The Redbirds play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Western Athletics Conference.
Beauchaine played in 88 games over two seasons at Saddleback, batting .338 with 16 home runs and 77 RBI. His 16 career home runs ranks ninth in program history while his 77 RBI ranks 15th.
Rodriguez committed to Jamestown University, located in Jamestown, North Dakota. The Jimmies play an NCAA D2 schedule within the North Star Athletic Association.
Rodriguez pitched in 24 games over two seasons at Saddleback, finishing 2-1 with 21 strikeouts in 34.2 innings of work.
