The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2025 team has committed to a four-year university. Jake Tyler gives the program seven commitments so far.
Tyler committed to Concordia University, located in Seward, Nebraska. The Bulldogs play under the NAIA umbrella within the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Concordia finished the 2025 campaign 41-13 and ranked No. 12 in the nation.
Tyler played in 32 games this past season for the Bobcats, finishing with a .943 fielding percentage.
Tyler lettered in baseball at Mission Viejo High School before graduating in 2022.
