Baseball commits on the rise
The Saddleback baseball program had a lot of big news this week as several players from the 2025 squad have made commitments to four-year schools. Three more players came off the board this week to give the Bobcats 10 transfers for the year.
The Saddleback baseball program had a lot of big news this week as several players from the 2025 squad have made commitments to four-year schools. Three more players came off the board this week to give the Bobcats 10 transfers for the year.
Hayden Carlson, Adam Roldan and Ryan Kepple were the latest Saddleback players to make a commitment.
Carlson will play at Seattle University, located in Seattle, Washington. The Redbirds play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Western Athletics Conference. Carlson played in 39 games this season, finishing with one home run, 13 RBI and a .310 on-base percentage.
Roldan will continue his career at the University of Hawaii-Hilo, located in Hilo, Hawaii. The Vulcans play an NCAA D2 schedule within the PacWest Conference. Roldan pitched in six games this season, leading the team with three saves.
Kepple committed to Chaminade University, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Silverswords play an NCAA D2 schedule within the PacWest Conference. Kepple pitched in seven games this past season, striking out eight batters in 10 innings of work.
