McMurry signed at UC Davis, located in Davis, California. The Aggies play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Big Sky Conference.
McMurry (6'0, 225) played in all 10 games this past season, finishing second on the team with 57 tackles. He was also tied for second in sacks (4.0) and tied for third in tackles-for-loss (5.5). McMurry played in 19 games the past two season, totaling 75 tackles.
Previous to Saddleback, McMurry was at Trinity Valley College (TX) where he focused on academics. Previous to TVCC, McMurry lettered in football at Murrieta Mesa High School before graduating in 2021. While at MMHS, he graduated with honors and set the school record for tackles in a game (18).
McMurry is the 13th member of the 2023 squad to sign at a four-year university.
