Football commits swell to 20

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this past week when they announced that two more players from the 2023 squad had signed to play at four-year universities.  The two signings brings the total to 20 for the year.

James Huffman and Braden Biller were the two latest names to make a choice at a four-year school.  Huffman will play at Arkansas Tech University while Biller will continue his playing career at Western New Mexico University.

Huffman (LB) played in five games for Saddleback this past season after playing in four games for the Bobcats in 2021.  He will play at Arkansas Tech, located in Russellville, Arkansas,  The Wonder Boys plays an NCAA DII schedule within the Great American Conference.

Biller (P) finished with a 37.0 average in 2023 with a season-long punt of 56 yards against Santa Barbara City College in week two.  He will play at Western New Mexico, located in Silver City, New Mexico.  The Mustangs play an NCAA DII schedule within the Lone Star Conference.
