Former Bobcat passes away
The Saddleback athletics department was saddened to hear the news on Wednesday that former football player Hiram deFries-Saronitman had passed away in Hawaii. deFries-Saronitman was involved in a plane crash near the Honolulu airport on Tuesday.
The Saddleback athletics department was saddened to hear the news on Wednesday that former football player Hiram deFries-Saronitman had passed away in Hawaii. deFries-Saronitman was involved in a plane crash near the Honolulu airport on Tuesday.
deFries-Saronitman played linebacker for Saddleback in both 2021 and 2022. He was an All-National Division Southern League Second Team selection following his sophomore season when he finished second on the team with 58 tackles and 2.5 tackles-for-loss.
deFries-Saronitman came to Saddleback from Punahou high School (HI) where he lettered in football and baseball before graduating in 2020.
deFries-Saronitman was 24 years old.
