The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement of another member of the program committing to a four-year school. Defensive tackle Emil Ventura became the 18th member of the 2024 squad to commit.

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement of another member of the program committing to a four-year school. Defensive tackle Emil Ventura became the 18th member of the 2024 squad to commit.
Ventura will play at Adams State University, located in Alamosa, Colorado. The Grizzlies plan an NCAA D2 schedule within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Ventura played in all 11 games in 2024, finishing with 13 total tackles, three tackles-for-loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Ventura was named to the All-National Division Southern League Second Team following the season.
Ventura lettered in football at Laguna Hills High School before graduating in 2019.
