Two more Bobcats commit

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this past week with the announcement of two more commitments to the four-year ranks.  Enrique Amposta and Eric Padilla were the latest commitments, bringing the offseason total to 26.

Amposta will play at Portland State University, located in Portland, Oregon.  The Vikings play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Big Sky Conference.

Amposta played in all 11 games this past season, leading the team with 55 total tackles.  He finished with 97 tackles in two seasons at the school.

Padilla will play at Cornell College, located in Mount Vernon, Iowa.  The Rams play an NCAA D3 schedule within the Midwest Conference. 

The two commitments bring the Saddleback total to 26 for the year, with a couple more players expected to make a decision in the coming weeks.
