Cats nearing 30 commits

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2024 team has made a commitment to a four-year university.  Joseph Malfavon gives the Bobcats 29 commitments for the offseason.

Malfavon committed to Jamestown University, located in Jamestown, North Dakota.  The Jimmies play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Malfavon finished fourth on the team in tackles, recording 37 total tackles with three tackles-for-loss, one interception and four pass break-ups.  He played in 20 games over two seasons, totaling 46 tackles. 

Malfavon lettered in football at San Juan Hills High School before graduating in 2022.
