The Saddleback football program was one of the leaders in the nation last season at getting players to the next level and already has a jump on the rest of the country with commitments during the Early Signing Period, which started on Wednesday.
Ali is the second Saddleback defensive back to commit in the past 24 hours, joining Noah Luginbill. Ali will play at Central Michigan University, located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The Chippewas play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Mid-America Conference.
Ali (6'2, 190) is currently tied for the team lead with two interceptions and has 22 tackles and three tackles-for-loss in 10 games.
Ali lettered in football and track at Esperanza High School before graduating in 2025. While at EHS, Ali was a two-time, all-conference player and made the student-athlete honor roll.
Ali chose Central Michigan over others offers from North Dakota and East Tennessee State.
