Trio of Bobcats make commitments

The Saddleback flag football program was back in the news this week with the announcement that three of its players from the inaugural 2025 team have committed to four-year universities.  Anelly Alba, Jaylene Roby and Val Amaro have all made choices.

Alba will continue playing at Arizona Christian University, located in Glendale, Arizona.  The Firestorm are starting flag football this coming year and will play under the NAIA umbrella.

Roby has committed to Cottey College, located in Nevada, Missouri.  The Comets have had a flag football program since 2021 and play under the NAIA umbrella as part of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Amaro has committed to the University of Redlands, located in Redlands, California.  The Bulldogs will enter their second season of flag football and play an NCAA D3 schedule.
