Comes to Saddleback from William Baptist College where he played briefly for the Eagles in 2012-13 before getting injured. He was able to get a medical redshirt for that season so he returns to his original freshman status. Previous to WBC, Trotter lettered in basketball at Salmen High School in Slidell, Louisiana, before graduating in 2012. He is undecided on a major.
