Another Bobcat on the move

The Saddleback men's soccer program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2024 squad will transfer to a four-year university.  Sophomore Tyler Petersen becomes the fourth commitment during the offseason.

Petersen is best-known as the first player in program history to score a goal as he netted the first goal in program history in 2023 when scoring against San Diego Mesa College in the season-opener on August 29, 2023.  Petersen ended up playing in 38 games over two seasons, scoring five goals with five assists.

Petersen will play at Westminster University, located in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The Griffins play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
