Record-setting Bobcat commits
The Saddleback men’s soccer program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another one of the players from the 2024 team has committed to a four-year university. Andy Jun led the team with 14 goals last season.
The Saddleback men's soccer program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another one of the players from the 2024 team has committed to a four-year university. Andy Jun led the team with 14 goals last season.
Jun will play at Concordia University, located in Irvine, California. The Golden Eagles play an NCAA D2 schedule within the PacWest Conference.
Jun set the program record with 14 goals this past year and was named to the Orange Empire Conference Second Team following the season. He had 24 goals and seven assists in 35 games over two years for the Bobcats. Jun is the only player in program history to have a hat trick as he scored three times in the final game of the 2023 season against Santiago Canyon College.
Jun is the fifth member of the 2024 team to commit to a four-year school.
