Two more water polo commitments

The Saddleback men's water polo program was back in the news this week with the announcement of two players from the 2024 squad committing to four-year universities.  Oliver Child and Matthew Arellano have both made commitments, according to the water polo office.

Child will play at the University of Redlands, located in Redlands, California.  The Bulldogs play an NCAA D3 schedule within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

Child finished with 47 goals in 27 games this past season.  He was named honorable  mention All-Orange Empire Conference following the season.  Child played in 55 games total over two seasons, scoring 68 goals.

Arellano was also an honorable mention All-Orange Empire Conference selection this past season after scoring 45 goals in 31 games.  He finished his two-year career with 80 goals in 68 games.

Arellano will play at Chapman University, located in Orange, California.  Like Redlands, the Panthers also play an NCAA D3 schedule within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
