Two Cats make commitments
Rose and de Bonnafos make four-year commitments
The Saddleback water polo program was back in the news on Tuesday with the announcement of two players moving on to the four-year level. Jayden Rose and Septime de Bonnafos made recent commitments, according to the men's water polo office.
Rose will play at Biola University, located in La Mirada, California. The Eagles play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Western Water Polo Association.
Rose was named First Team All-Orange Empire Conference this past season. He finished with a team-high 104 goals, which was the eighth highest total in the state this season. The sophomore from Murrieta Valley High School finished his two-year career at Saddleback with 152 goals and 62 assists.
de Bonnafos will play at Redlands University, located in Redlands, California. The Bulldogs play an NCAA D3 schedule within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
de Bonnafos was an honorable mention all-conference selection this past season after playing in 36 games for the Bobcats. He finished 20-16 this past season with a 45% save percentage, finishing with a conference-high 267 saves.
