Saddleback had a slow start, falling behind 18-13 at the end of the opening quarter. The Bobcats then kicked things into high gear, cruising past the Seahawks for a 34-point win.
Saddleback had a massive second half. Up 28-23 at the break, Saddleback outscored Los Angeles Harbor 56-27 over the final 20 minutes. The Bobcats opened up their largest lead of the game with 5:27 remaining when Bianca Powell drilled a three-pointer for a 76-40 lead. Powell would finish with 13 points off the bench on 6-of-14 shooting.
Saddleback was led by Moanike'ala Scott, who lit up the Seahawks for 26 points. Scott was 8-of-14 from long range, coming within one three-pointer from tying the program record. She was 5-of-7 from beyond the arc in the second half.
Joining Scott and Powell in double-digits were Alex Surrena-Thompson and Aleksia Gadea. Surrena-Thompson finished with 18 points, finishing 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Gadea finished with 15 points and led the team with seven assists on the afternoon.
Saddleback is now 2-1 to start the season. The Bobcats will take on Imperial Valley College on Friday at 3:00 PM at San Diego City College.
