Scott is first basketball commit
The Saddleback women’s basketball program was back in the news on Thursday with the announcement that one of the players from the 2024-25 squad has signed a letter of intent. Sophomore Moanike’ala Scott signed with Hope International to play at the four-year level.

Hope International is located in Fullerton, California. The Royals play an NAIA schedule within the Great Southwest Athletic Conference.
Scott played for the Bobcats the past two seasons and recently surpassed the 500-point total during her time at the school. She currently leads the team with 45 three-pointers this season while averaging 9.6 points-per-game. Scott had a season-best six three-pointers this season against Orange Coast College and had a career-high eight against Los Angeles Harbor College to start the 2023-24 season.
Scott came to Saddleback from Mililani High School (HI) where she lettered in both basketball and softball before graduating in 2023.
