The Saddleback athletics department announced this past week that women's water polo coach Molly Andrews will take over the women's swimming and dive program.
Andrews has been the coach of the women's water polo program since 2021 and has guided the program to two straight appearances in the 3C2A State Tournament. The Bobcats have gone 60-41 over the past three seasons, with Andrews winning the Sandy Nitta Award handed out by USA Water Polo in 2023 after guiding the program to its first appearance in the playoffs in 17 years in 2022.
"I'm excited to get started," Andrews said. "It's a great area for swimming and hopefully we can build on what we have created with water polo."
Andrews takes over for Jennifer Rohles, who had been the head coach of the swim program since 2003.
