Zerehgar posts record time as Cats qualify

Zerehgar is saving her best for last as she finished seventh overall and made the All-Region First Team as a reward. She crossed the finish line of the 5k trek in 18:42.0 to set a new school record on the course by 14 seconds.
Following Zerehgar for Saddleback with a top-30 performance was Shae Barrera, who finished 29th overall in a time of 20:08.6. Rounding out the team score for the Bobcats was Trinity Tullett (75th), Jane Sorto (103rd) and Adriana Ignash (117th).
Saddleback will now head to Woodward Park in Fresno for the 3C2A State Championships on November 22.
