Bio

Returns to Saddleback after playing in nine games for the Gauchos last spring.  In his nine appearances, Lyford pitched 12 scoreless innings for a perfect 0.00 ERA.  Previous to Saddleback, he lettered in baseball at Dana Hills High School before graduating in 2014.  While at DHHS, he was part of a Sea View League title team with the Dolphins.  Lyford's father, Tom, played basketball at Montana State University while his mother, Janice, played softball at Cal State Fullerton.  He once volunteered time in the Dominican Republic as part of a youth initiative and hopes to major in business administration.
