Comes to Saddleback from Santa Barbara City College where he focused on academics.  Previous to SBCC, Widner lettered in football and soccer at Mission Viejo High School before graduating in 2020.  While at MVHS, Widner set a number of school records, including kicking points in a career, kicking points in a game and consecutive conversion kicks.  

Widner plans to major in liberal arts and teaching.
