Bio
Returns to Saddleback after a spectacular freshman campaign when she won the individual state championship in the 1,500 meters while setting program records in the event. In addition, Ibarra Canales participated for two seasons on the cross country team and finished second at the state finals in individual competition during the fall. As if that wasn;t enough, Ibarra Canales also earned scholar-athlete status for her work in the classroom.
Previous to Saddleback, Ibarra Canales lettered in cross country at Aliso Niguel High School before graduating in 2023. While at ANHS, Ibarra was a team MVP and was once voted voted athlete-of-the-month.
Ibarra Canales once ran a marathon when she was 12.
Ibarra Canales plans to major in psychology.
