Bio
Returns to Saddleback after a sensation season as a freshman in 2023. During her freshman campaign, Ibarra Canales finished seventh at the state finals, earning both All-California and All-America status.
In addition to cross country, Ibarra Canales was a star for the track & field program this spring when she captured the state individul title in the 1,500 meters, setting a program record along the way. In addition, she captured the Orange Empire Conference title in the event.
Previous to Saddleback, Ibarra Canales lettered in cross country at Aliso Niguel High School before graduating in 2023. While at ANHS, Ibarra was a team MVP and was once voted voted athlete-of-the-month.
Ibarra Canales once ran a marathon when she was 12.
Ibarra Canales plans to major in psychology.
